As the transition to the upgrade approaches, more FAQs will be added to help make your upgrade as easy as possible.

When will the upgrade happen? Do I need to do anything to get this upgrade?

Nothing is needed from you prior to the upgrade.  Note the new URL for LinkedInLearning is: http:linkedinlearning.princeton.edu  All your previous training history has been carried over as long as long as you have logged into Lynda.com since January 2014.

Will I be able to access Lynda content during the upgrade?

No, there will be up to 18 hours of downtime on Lynda.com while Princeton migrates Lynda.com content to LinkedIn Learning. 

Will I lose all of the information in my current Lynda.com account when Princeton upgrades to LinkedIn Learning?

If you have  logged in to Lynda.com since January 2014,  your entire history will be migrated to your new LinkedIn Learning account. Once you activate your LinkedIn Learning account, your history and activity will be available in the new platform.

How will I access LinkedIn Learning?

After the upgrade, you can access LinkedIn Learning on the web at linkedinlearning.princeton.edu or through the LinkedIn Learning Mobile app for iOS and Android.

Am I required to connect my LinkedIn profile to my Princeton LinkedIn Learning account?

No, connecting your profile is optional. If you change your mind, you retain the option to connect your profile at a later time.

Why should I connect my LinkedIn profile to my Princeton LinkedIn Learning account?

Connecting your profile will result in a more personalized learning experience that includes special course recommendations based on your job title, skills, and industry. Read more about the reasons to connect with LinkedIn.

Will Princeton have access to view my LinkedIn activity on my personal account?

No, Princeton University will not see your private LinkedIn activity. See LinkedIn’s privacy information.
